Ford was also acclaimed for his historical renderings of scenes from the Middle Ages through the 18th century. This collection gathers his most compelling and hard-to-find images from works of fact and fancy, including The Red Book of Animal Stories and The Book of Saints and Heroes. Half of the 120 images are printed in their original full-colour format. This is a Dover Original.
